Offelia is a game between life and its representation; a theatre within the theatre. An avant-garde theatre troupe attempts to stage a postmodern version of Hamlet. One week before opening night, the backstage turns into an explosive mix of morbidity and sensitivity, one that can only lead to fatal consequences.

Through rehearsals, clashes, tension and passions, the production reveals the raw reality behind the scenes: dysfunctional relationships, power dynamics, secrets and fragile balances. Everything unfolds before the audience’s eyes, bringing to light the wild face of creation, as well as a criminal plot simmering beneath the surface, ready to overturn everything.
